When you have a very large site, you may find that you need to create different credentials for the people who work there, since not everyone can have the same credentials for any activity.

For example, you cannot give the freedom of an administrator to an editor, since that can lead to great problems for the page; this is known as roles.

How to create and manage roles in WordPress?

When you create a profile within a WordPress page, you have the opportunity to assign a role to that profile so that it can perform a task on the site. For this, the administrator has to enter the “Users” section that is inside the WordPress menu, and then click on “Add New “.

On this screen, you have to fill in all the empty fields to be able to create a profile, and at the end you can see the option “Profile”, where you must specify the role that this person is going to play within the page of WordPress.

On the other hand, if what you want is to manage the roles in terms of changing who have which role, the administrator must enter again in the “Users” section, and enter “All users ” go to the user to whom You want to change the role and click on edit, and then go to the “Profile” section to be able to change the role of the person on the page.
