Sony is another of the manufacturers whose computers have some variations from one model to another in the way of entering the BIOS.
F2 + Power button: If you have a Sony Vaio S or Z series, press and hold the F2 key and then press the power button to turn on the system. Keep pressing the F2 key until you enter BIOS.
Assist key: Turn on the system and press Assist key to open BIOS. The assist key is a special key that you won’t find on other laptops. It’s not even on all Sony laptops, but if yours does, it can take you straight into the BIOS.
F2: Press the F2 key to access the BIOS on your Toshiba laptop.
F12: If the F2 key does not work, you must reboot the system and press the F12 key to access your BIOS setup.
Open the BIOS from Windows 10 itself
One option that could work for you regardless of the manufacturer of your PC is to enter the BIOS from the same Windows desktop. To do this, hold down the Shift key while restarting the system in the power menu.
This will reboot your system to Advanced Startup Options instead of the desktop. Then choose Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > UEFI Firmware Settings and click Restart. This will launch your BIOS setup page.
