You have several methods to know if you are in the Credit Bureau. One of them is by entering their web platform, going to their office, dialing a telephone number from the capital or the interior of the country or sending an email to request information about your credit history. If you are in this registry, you must evaluate if you have a delinquency pending to pay since you will not be able to acquire another loan until you pay off that debt.

All Mexican citizens who have acquired a loan, credit card, telephone service contract or have mortgaged any of their assets will automatically enter this registry. This is because financial institutions will see this data in the Credit Bureau in order to keep a monthly check on the loans granted. If you request a new credit, it will be delivered according to whether your score remains positive or negative.


The procedure to consult the Credit Bureau is really simple regardless of the method you choose. Before starting to explain the steps that you must take before each medium, it is necessary to mention the requirements that you must have available to be able to make the query:

  • Official identification (permanent resident card, if you are a foreigner, voter ID or valid passport).

On the other hand, if you are in the interior of the Republic, dial 01 800 640 79 20 to request information about your credit history.

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 21:00 hrs and Saturdays from 9:00 to 14:00 hrs. The first request you make in the year (12 months) will be completely free. Now, if you make a second consultation in the same period of time, it will have a price of $ 89.00 Mexican pesos.

Sending an email

The official email of Buró de Crédito is servicio.clientes@burodecredito.com.mx. Through this email you can also request the Special Credit Report. However, within the platform they do not specifically specify the response time or that this option is available for this purpose.

Through a postal mail

You can send a postal mail to the address of the Credit Bureau offices in order to request the Special Credit Report. You only have to fill in the fields that are required in the application form (you can obtain it through thislink ) and send it to “Av. Periférico Sur 4349. Plaza Imagen, Loc. 3. Fracc. Remember to attach a copy of identification and write both the email and the updated contact numbers. You should receive the credit history in a period of no more than 5 business days.

Going to an office

You have the option of going to an office directly to request the credit history immediately. Payments to be made

The first consultation of the Special Credit Report is free only once a year. If you want to make a second consultation, it will have an additional cost depending on the method you choose. In the following list you will see the prices to pay to obtain a second consultation in the Credit Bureau :

  • Internet and mobile app: $ 35.60 Mexican pesos.
  • Telephone and office service: $ 89.00 Mexican pesos.

If for any reason, the platform charges you for the first consultation of the Special Credit Report, carry out the process using other means and explain that it is the first time. On the other hand, if you see any wrong or out-of-date information, call the aforementioned phones to fix the error.

Review the Score
